Silueta Privacy Policy

Silueta ("we", "us") is a fashion discovery app operated by Daniella Arcila LLC. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Questions: silueta@casaestudio.co.

The short version

• You can browse Silueta without an account.
• If you create an account, we store your email and the looks and cart you save, so they follow you between phones.
• We count taps on links to labels' shops, without recording who tapped.
• We do not sell your information, show third-party ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
• You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.

What we collect

If you create an account

• Your email address and, if you add one, the name you go by. If you sign in with a password, it is stored in scrambled (hashed) form by our hosting provider; we cannot read it.
• If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address (or, with Apple's Hide My Email, a private address that forwards to you) and, with Apple, the first name you choose to share. We never see your Apple or Google password. For Sign in with Apple we also keep a token from Apple, used only to end the connection with Apple when you delete your account.
• The looks you build, the pieces in your cart, and the size or option you chose for each piece.
• Your style: your answers to the style quiz (styles, colours, budget, weather and favourite labels), the pieces and labels you like, and how often you open each label's shop from the app. We use this only to suggest pieces and outfits in Silueta.
• Whether you have Silueta+, which plan, whether you are in the free trial, and when it ends or renews.

If you join the launch list on our website

• Your email address and the language of the page, used only to tell you when the app is available. Email silueta@casaestudio.co to be removed at any time.

Emails we send you

• We use your email address to send messages about your account: a welcome email when you sign up, a confirmation when you join Silueta+, and a code when you ask to reset your password.
• News emails are sent only if you switch on Email notifications in the app, and each one includes a way to unsubscribe. For news emails we record whether the email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can tell what is useful.

If you turn on notifications

• A notification address for your device (a "push token") and the language your app is set to, so we can deliver notifications in your language. If you are signed in, the token is linked to your account so that alerts about pieces you saved reach you.

When you tap a link to a label

• We record that a link was tapped: which label, which piece, the kind of link, the app's language and the time. We do not record who tapped it or which device was used.
• When you come back from a label's shop, the app may ask whether you bought something. Your answer is saved with the label, the pieces and the amount, but not with who answered.

Kept only on your phone

• Your language, currency and ship-to country, whether you have seen the introduction screens, and, if you are not signed in, your looks, cart, style quiz answers and likes. Your ship-to country is sent with each request so we only show labels that deliver to you; we do not store it.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, payment card details or advertising identifier. Silueta contains no advertising or analytics trackers from other companies.

How we use it

• To keep your looks and cart and show them on any phone you sign in on.
• To suggest pieces, outfits and labels that suit your style, based on your quiz answers, likes, saved looks and the labels you visit.
• To send the notifications you asked for: new labels and edits, and, for Silueta+ members, price drops and restocks on saved pieces.
• To understand which labels people visit from Silueta, so we can report traffic to those labels and be paid commission on resulting sales.
• To provide Silueta+ features to members.
• To keep the service secure and working.

Buying from labels

Silueta does not sell products or take payment for them. When you tap See at label, Visit site or Check out, you leave Silueta and go to the label's own website. The link includes a tag saying the visit came from Silueta (for example utm_source=silueta) and, for some labels, an affiliate tag. From that point the label's own privacy policy applies, including to your name, address and payment details.

Affiliate disclosure: Silueta may earn a commission when you buy from a label after following a link from the app. This does not change the price you pay.

Product photos are loaded directly from each label's own servers, so those servers receive the standard technical information any website receives, such as your device's internet address.

Who helps us run Silueta

We share information only with companies that provide services to us, and only as needed for that service:

• Supabase hosts our database and sign-in system (your account, looks, cart, style preferences, notification token and link-tap counts).
• Expo delivers push notifications to your device.
• Resend delivers our emails (your email address, the content of the message and, for news emails, whether it was opened or a link clicked).
• Apple processes Silueta+ subscription payments and provides Sign in with Apple. We never see your card details.
• RevenueCat manages Silueta+ subscriptions for us. It receives your Silueta account ID and your App Store subscription records (plan, dates, status), not your card details.
• Google provides Sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Account data is kept until you delete your account.
• Notification tokens are kept until you turn notifications off or the token stops working.
• Link-tap counts contain no personal information and are kept indefinitely.

Your choices

• Delete your account: Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, the looks, cart and style preferences saved to it, and your membership record.
• Your style: change your quiz answers any time in Account → Your style, and remove likes by tapping the heart again.
• Notifications: turn them off in Account, or in your phone's Settings.
• Access or correction: email silueta@casaestudio.co and we will send you a copy of what we hold or correct it.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Brazil or California), you may have additional rights, such as objecting to certain uses or complaining to your data protection authority. We honour those requests.

Children

Silueta is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age). We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
